Tinted glass works to reduce heat transfer by filtering out ultraviolet light and infrared radiation. Because tinting can also reduce the amount of light transmitted, it is reserved primarily for warm climates, or windows with a southern or western exposure. Tinted glass may also be combined with LoE2 for maximum energy efficiency. Silver Line offers Bronze, Green and Gray tinted glass options.
